ẄILD VØICES
Women's Writing Circle
"When a woman speaks her truth, fires up her intention and feeling, staying tight with the instinctive nature, she is singing, she is living in the wild breath-stream of the soul. "
~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes
A space to honor the wild feminine within.
Wild Voices takes us on a journey through the chapters of our lives, from girlhood to womanhood, celebrating our uniqueness as women, our rites of passage, our milestones...and gives voice to our deepest parts. This 12-week writing circle offers a different theme each week, exploring the stories we were told and messages we received about living as natural women—about our wildness, desire for freedom, longing for connection, instinctual drives, creativity and sensuality.
Our work together is based on the evocative writing of author Judy Reeves, in her beautiful book Wild Women, Wild Voices and the famous Women Who Run with the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes. It's a space for ALL women who want to explore the power of their femininity--from seasoned writers to those who've never put pencil to paper. The only prerequisite for Wild Voices is a desire to write from your heart.
There is power in this process. There is creative revival and the gift of feminine awakening that you don't even realize you're getting, as it slowly creeps back in and reveals itself beyond our sessions.
“Writing is medicine for the feminine spirit, a portal of power that connects us to who we are at heart. When we come together and write within a community of woman, each of us unearths a wellspring of wisdom we’re able to reclaim for our own wellbeing. Wild Voices is a space to honor the natural wild woman in all of us, a place to weave magic into our lives by exploring what it means to live as fulfilled, deeply rooted women" -Angela
